Phew....

Good news!  Last night was my 12 hour fast (possibly the toughest part of the pregnancy so far) and a 3 hour blood glucose test this morning.  During the 3 hour test, 4 blood samples were taken.  Thankfully I had my Dr.'s appointment this afternoon and was able to find out that all of the four tests came back fine.... so, gestational diabetes is no longer a concern!  I am so relieved - Things have been going smoothly so far and it is almost too good to be true.  The Dr.'s appointment this afternoon went well.  I was able to meet a new doctor in the practice, Dr. Junilla (not sure of the spelling of her name) and she was great!  She was super patient and very, very sweet.  Baby A's heart beat was approximately 150 (this is the bigger baby) and Baby A's heart beat was approximately 140 (this is the smaller baby). Both heartbeats were within normal ranges.  So far, it has truly been a perfect pregnancy!

Mike returns home tomorrow night from a 3 day trip to Florida for work.  I am very excited to see him and hope to maybe get lucky enough to get a back rub :)  Our hardwood floors were finished this morning and hopefully this weekend we can start to get our house back in order.   Our next Dr.'s appointment is February 2nd and we'll get to have an ultrasound then so we have less than 2 weeks to wait to see the boys again.  My weight gain is on the lower end so they want to do an ultrasound soon to be make sure that the babies are growing appropriately.  I love food so that is certainly not the problem!  We'll keep you posted!
