Happy at home

Today is our 4th full day of being home as a family.  What a great feeling it is!  The boys are doing well and are growing quickly.  Both boys had a check up yesterday at their pediatrician's office.  Aiden is now up to 5 pounds, 8 ounces and Christopher is tipping the scale at 4 pounds, 15.5 ounces.  Both are healthy and the Dr didn't have any concerns.  The boys were great on the car ride and slept the entire way to and from home. We have our next appointment next Tuesday afternoon for another weight check and the following week the boys have a consultation in Springfield at the pediatric surgeons for the circumcisions.  I am not looking forward to putting them through that but I know that in the long run it is the a smart move.

We had a great night last night.  The boys fed well and were up every 2 1/2 - 3 hours to feed (which lasts an hour each time with both Mike and I feeding) but other than the regular feedings, they slept through the night.  I felt pretty lucky!

We had a good day today.  It was our first day of not having to go anywhere for appointments or errands.  It was nice and relaxing if that's possible with two infants.  Mike and I were even able to get out for a walk on our own as my parents came to relieve us and give us a break this afternoon.  We have such great support, so thank you everyone - we love you all!
