Rain rain go away!

Could it rain any harder? It is 3 am now and we just finished a feeding and I realized that I never got to post yesterday so I am sitting here listening to the rain pound down outside as I catch up on my standard mid-week blog. There is nothing worse than a rainy day! It doesn't do the boys or I am good and unfortunately this week has been filled with too much rain! On a good, non-rainy day the boys and I will enjoy 1 -2 walks. They love the fresh air and attention they get from other walkers and people out and about and I love the exercise and quiet time as they can never keep their eyes open the entire walk:)

The boys continue to smile more and more everyday. The mornings are usually our biggest smile times. I don't know if its because they are well rested and ready to go for the day or more that they are happy to be held after spending the time in their cribs the night before. In either case, Mike and I look forward to the first few hours of the day when for the most part we have two very happy babies.

Books seem to be a new delight for Chris and Aiden. I think they just love hearing voices and being talked to. There are somedays when they will curl up in your arms and listen to stories for up to a half hour without even wiggling! I do have to admit that I have found some of the tongue twisters by Dr. Seuss quit challenging! "Oh Say Can You Say" and "Fox in Sox" top the charts! If you haven't read them in a while, I would encourage you to. I say this first so you don't think I am crazy and second because they really are challenging books with their plays on words.

Friday I am planning on going into work to put in a few hours. While we visited Umass once, this will be my first time visiting with the purpose of getting work done. I have put in a few hours of work from home but Friday Grammie Hopkins will be coming over to watch the boys. I will be nervous about going but it will be good to start to ease back into things slowly. The boys are excited to spend time with their Grandma!

I am keeping my fingers crossed for some sunshine SOON!
