You Are My Sunshine...

I asked for a smile... and Aiden decided to cooperate and give me a goofy grin and bug eyed stare!

Christopher is giving us a sneak preview of what his balding head may look like as a little old man someday! Although to give him credit - both he and Aiden have small blonde fuzz growing back in already!

"You Are My Sunshine" is the boys favorite song, okay, well maybe its my favorite song to sing to them but this weekend it brought on the smiles. Aiden and Chris are finally smiling in reaction to familiar faces and voices. Watching them, you can't help but light up yourself. Smiling brings a whole new dimension to their personalities and we hope that they will continue to come and we are also on the look out for any smile triggers that we can identify..... we just can't get enough!

There is still no news about the stability of AIG but on a happier note, I found out that I will be able to extend my maternity leave to spend more time with the boys. Umass has been so good to me (thank you Anne!) and they are willing to work with me to let me go back part time to start to ease back into things. I have such great friends there, thank you everyone! I can not believe that this is the start of my 11th week of maternity leave!

The boys seem to be enjoying their food lately and were on quite the feeding frenzy yesterday. I am happy to report that it was all worth while as it ended with Mike and I enjoying a sleeping stretch of 4 hours and 45 min! Woo hoo! We were excited and look forward to more restful nights... at least we hope.

On a stinky note - Chris has one of the largest eruptions that I have ever seen. On our way out the door today to visit our friends Suzy & Pat, Chris managed to get himself messy all of the way up to this neck! So much for matching outfits.... As a matter of fact I think my recommendation to other future mothers of multiples would be to ask for 3 outfits all the same so when one gets messy seconds after use, you could still have fun dressing your little ones up. In all seriousness I think I have yet to have the boys in matching outfits together for more than a half hour before we have one sort of accident or another :)

We were so thankful to visit with Grammie/Grampa Hopkins, Grammie/Dzaidz Pt., Auntie Laura/Tommy, GG Mimi, Suzy/Pat/Sophie/Jenna/April.
