Yes.... the rumors are right..... Extreme Homemakeover is in Suffield this week!!! Being as this is one of the few shows that I watch and LOVE we had to go check it out! As you would probably expect, the road was blocked on both ends and all that you could see were the cars lining the streets.
We are ACTIVELY accepting ideas of how we can make a sneak attack to get close enough for a peak and maybe a picture. The only picture that I got this morning was that of a supply truck bringing in materials for the project. Bummer! I have not given up hope and Mike and I, okay, maybe it's just me... I am scheming up ways to sneak in during the middle of the night or walk the inactive railroad tracks about 15 miles to get there :) Crazy, but maybe worth it! I was also thinking that maybe Mike could become a cop overnight so that he could be one of the guards on the street and let me sneak in or something.
The house is less than a 5 minute drive from our house. We were lucky to get out for a quick walk this morning and the town seems to be flooded with tour buses, news vehicles and bikers (hoping to sneak in closer!)... If we are successful with a sneak attack, I will post pictures. I know I certainly don't want to wait until the show airs in September to see it!
