Aiden and Chris are officially 9 months old! Unfortunately for them it wasn't much of a celebration as they have both been battling fevers since Sunday, poor peanuts! Thankfully after 3 rough days, we finally started to turn the corner today with lower fevers and less fuss... a huge relief for me! With both boys being sick, it seems as if there wasn't enough of me to go around. They both wanted to be held and if they weren't being held, they were climbing all over me! Maybe I am thankful they are just little guys!

Feeding was non-existent for the three days the boys were sick. They had no interest in eating their favorites like bananas and peach cobbler, let alone try new food. I was even willing to let them have dessert for breakfast but I've learned that bribery is no good at 9 months of age! So... less food means less sleep and as you can imagine, this has been a long week. Boycotting food also isn't helping their weight issue which is a bummer.

Today Chris and Aiden were brave and sampled some goat cheese and seemed to like it. For dinner I made a grilled cheese sandwich with organic American cheese from Trader Joes and they seemed receptive. They also had their standard breakfast shake and more than three bites for once! They were even willing to eat their yogurt so I am keeping my fingers crossed that maybe we are getting back on track and maybe just maybe we will get some sleep tonight!

I forgot to mention our funny new name for the boys in my last post. Last week Mike came home from work and went over to see Aiden and Chris and without even realizing it, looked at one of them and said "Hi Craiden." After trying to deny it, I was thankful to have Laura home to back me up and help me pick on Mike. Anyone that knows Mike knows that we need to take advantage of EVERY opportunity! The real moral of the story is.. when trying to address both boys at once or when in doubt of who you are with, Craiden is a safe bet!
