Chris loves playing in his crib.

Aiden (L) and Chris (R) having an after hours party in their crib.

This weekend was busy and quiet at the same time! Quiet because Mike was gone and busy because we visited! Mike spent the weekend with his buddies from college and had a great visit. It was nice to see him relax and spend time with old friends. He came home happy but tired!

The boys and I spent Friday night in Belchertown with Grammie & Dziadz Pt. Grammie Pt and I took the boys out for a morning on the town. We headed to the local craft fairs in Belchertown where both Grammie and I won gift baskets in the church raffle! What a treat! The boys were great sports although being a bit overwhelmed by all of the sights and friends interested in meeting them. They were reluctant to give many smiles so I am wondering if this could be the beginning of some stranger apprehension. Saturday afternoon the boys visited at Grammie Pt's and spent some time with GG Mimi. We enjoyed our time there and I enjoyed having company for part of Mike's time away. Mike came home this morning and his friends came to meet the boys for breakfast. Aiden and Chris loved the "big" boys!

This afternoon Grammie and Grampie Hopkins came for a visit. The boys took shifts visiting as Aiden decided that sleeping was not on his agenda until much later than normal. The boys loved their visits! Afterward Mike and I enjoyed a family walk with the boys which gave us a great chance to catch up after being apart this weekend.

The boys are still boycotting real food. They are willing to take bottles but have very litte interest in wanting to eat oatmeal, fruits or veggies. We have their 9 month check ups on Thursday so sadly I am not expecting any significant weight gains. Considering that they are not eating much, I am thrilled that they are still sleeping well. They are not sleeping through the night but they are only getting up 1-2 times each per night. I will be anxious to see if the peditrician recommends continuing to encourage them to drink through the night. We shall see!

We LOVED the weather today and are SO excited for the weather this coming week! We hope everyone is enjoying the start of November!
