Its the simple things....

Today Aiden and Christopher turn 10 months old! Happy Birthday boys!!!

Aiden's "guilty look."

The boys LOVE their new box.... Thank you UPS and THANK YOU Daddy!!!

Chris is waiting to see what Aiden's next move is...

Could it get any better? The next day an even BIGGER box arrived. What a dream!

Chris exploring the box that was twice his size!

Aiden's tired look...

Chris in the tunnel... And yes, it even has windows, thanks to Daddy!

Aiden gets his turn in the box tunnel. We're not having fun or anything, are we??!? Maybe the smiles give it away!

Chris loves to peak out of the french doors in their nursery.

Chris (L) and Aiden (R) pose with their friend Mathieu who came over for a play date this week! Mathieu is about a month younger but as you can see, quite a bit bigger than the boys.

Lots of pictures to share this week! As you can see, we are enjoying the simplier things in life and these tend to be what the boys enjoy the most! What could be better than a huge cardboard fort and tunnel? Especially one with windows?

The holiday preparations (cooking, baking, cleaning, wrapping, shopping) are keeping me busy but in the spirit of Christmas. We are very excited for next week but I almost wish that I had a few more weeks to get even MORE excited! With the weather getting colder this week, the reality of having to spend a lot of time inside over the next few weeks is hitting. We are still making it out for walks as long as the wind doesn't knock us over!

We have had a great week. I was able to meet Juliet for a great night out last night. At the end of this week, our friends Jeremy, Jen and Georgianna are moving to CA. We are all really bummed to see them go and Mike will be helping them pack tomorrow. We were hoping they would change their minds as Georgie gets along great with the boys but I guess we will have to settle for a visit once they are in the area.

On a humourous note, Mike is still keeping me smiling. We were at an appointment yesterday and Mike had filled out the necessary applications. Unbeknown to me, the form asked for the names and occupations of our children. Mike was quick to write down Aiden David Hopkins, "Trouble Maker" and Christopher Anthony Hopkins, "Accompliace." Needless to say, they certainly got a chuckle out of it and so did I! Leave it to Mike :)
