My apologies for the delay in removing the Xmas music. I guess the Alvin & the Chipmunks theme song didn't have any pull on the arrival of the boys two front teeth so it is time to change to some better tunes. Still no progress on the teeth!
I also have to apologize for jinxing the weather. I take complete responsibility for the change in the weather last week. I posted Wednesday night that I was so happy that we didn't have much snow and that I was so grateful to be able to get out and walk and well... we haven't been out since that last post! With the snow Thursday and the ridiculous wind and below zero temps with the wind, we have been longingly looking forward to milder weather again. Will taking full responsibility for the change in weather now bring me better luck? I sure hope so!
I am also the bearer of bad news in that I don't have any new pictures from the end of this week. Not sure how I let that one slip!!!!
So despite being stuck inside for the past few days, things have been going great. I have been winding down with pumping since the boys are now only TWO weeks away from being one year olds! It is amazing the sense of freedom that it brings to not feel "tied" to my pump. I am hoping to be totally done pumping by the boys birthday. While it is freedom at last for my body, it is also sad to know that I won't be providing for the boys in the way that I had been for the past year. I think the trade off it is worth it but it is certainly still taking some adjustments!
This weekend we were thrilled to have a visit with the Schilling family. Aiden and Chris LOVED the attention that they got and LOVED how they were so well attended to. After our visit on Saturday afternoon we headed to Belchertown to visit Grammie & Dziadz Pt. Aiden and Chris spent the night with Grammie & Dziadz and Mike and I had the night and ALL day today to ourselves! It has been a LONG time since I have felt this productive! We had a relaxing morning, staying in bed as long as we wanted! It was luxurious! Mike and I took full advantage of having time to ourselves and we headed back to reclaim the boys around 4:30. It was great to see and we both felt so rejuvenated! The boys LOVED their time with Grammie Pt., Dziadz, GG Mimi and Auntie Laura. What a treat for our whole family!
