We had a great weekend!

Auntie Laura was off from work last week so we were able to spent some extra time with her and had a few great walks and a shopping trip to Costco with the boys. Laura and I decided to brave it Friday with Chris and Aiden who had never had a ride in the front of a shopping cart. Chris and Aiden were a bit leary at first but quickly warmed up to the idea of becoming crowd stoppers as everyone wanted to know if they were twins. Aiden took a liking to touching all of the items that we passed that were within arms reach while Chris held onto Aidens arm, never letting go until we were back in the car. I wish that I had my camera to capture the trip. It was fun to be out with them and to nice to know that they behaved and enjoyed the experience as well.

Congratulations to the Locke's who's beautiful baby boy, Kameron was born early Saturday morning. I had the pleasure of meeting and snuggling with him on Saturday, reminiscing on where we were last year at this time. We are so excited for them and look forward to our boys playing together in the future. I am also very excited for more baby cuddle time.

Yesterday morning the boys went for their one year photo shoot at the studio we tried at Christmas time. I was thrilled with the outcome and the boys really enjoyed themselves. I was able to bake a birthday cake for them to dive into and they captured it on film! They boys are getting very good at cake/cupcake dives!

Today the boys were dedicated/baptized at church and we had a small celebration and birthday party with family afterward. They LOVED being the center of attention so much so that they decided to postpone their normal naps by 2 hours to sneak in some extra visit time. They had another day of cupcake dives after Auntie Laura and I spent over 2 hours decorating their barn and farm animal cake last night. I am confident that they appreciated that the cupcakes they were diving into were decorated as pigs :) We so enjoyed spending time with everyone we love today and the boys were so thrilled to have so many people to show off for. Chris clapped for the first time today and Aiden has been taking a more active interest in waving and is finally getting the hang of it!

The boys are starting to adjust the idea of whole milk and slowly warming up to pediasure. They are both working on getting their second tooth and have been getting up usually once a night still to eat but are sleeping until 6 am! Things are looking up for sure. Our best news this week was that Chris's test results all came back normal. They are going to repeat the tests in 3 months but we took a huge sigh of relief knowing there wasn't any major health issues related to his slow weight gain.

If anyone has any connections with the weathermen and can ask them to please change their forecasts about the snow this week, it would be much appreciated! I can't believe its almost March. I guess we can't complain since spring is just around the corner (I am hoping optimism might help change the forecast!)

Hey Karen!

The stroller we got is InStep. You are welcome to come to take it for a spin. It is wide and one of the biggest drawbacks is that it doesn't fit in my truck (Corolla) without taking off a wheel. The wheels are easily removed though and the boys LOVE riding in it. We have had 3 walks without a peep! I love that the sunshade is adjustable each seat can be adjusted seperately to recline. The tires are like bike tires so they roll super easy. It doesn't fit through standard doorways like our bedroom door but collapses so easy that you can tilt it sideways without any big deal. Sold on it yet? Let me know if you have any questions. It's been GREAT so far!
