Chris "spies" on the oil delivery man today
If you look closely you can see Chris's teeth. Cheese!
Aiden is bouncing on the crib mattress. Unfortunately I wasn't able to capture the action in this shot!
Mom, I am innocent.. I swear it wasn't me, nor will it ever be me. Love, Aiden.
Who needs sleep? Not us! Aiden (L) and Chris (R)
Ball pit fun!
Aiden feel asleep looking like he was trying to break out of jail!
Chris trying out his first cheese puff! It was love at first bite!
Aiden says "Humm, these things aren't so bad!"
Somehow with a little help from some mystery rearrangers, our diaper gene made it from the nursery into the livingroom and no, it's no on wheels!
I may be showing the early signs of going stir crazy, being on our second day of being stuck inside! Monday was a tease with such mild, sunny weather. My mother in law and I got out for a walk with the boys in the afternoon in anticipation of the looming winter weather. I was secretly hoping that the weather this week would be a flop like the "big" storm that we are still waiting to see from last week. I guess I won't get my wish but thankfully we are halfway through this mucky, rainy/snowy slushiness.
I have been trying to get creative with new activities to keep the boys busy. Today we pulled out the ball pit again that I had used for entertainment a few months back. Aiden was quite content sitting in the middle while Chris scurried around, throwing the balls and moving from one thing to the next. Pretty typical... I think we rotated "stations" about 25 times today but they did get excited with our two special visitors.... our plow man and our oil deliverer! Who would have guessed that these two very special people could bring such delight! The boys were both plastered to the windows well after both jobs were done. They even caught the oil deliverer's attention and he looked up, chuckled and waved. What a guy!
I am hoping that we will be luck enough to get outside tomorrow, at least for a brief walk but only time will tell. They boys are still not walking but are close. They both have two bottom teeth and can say about 25 words. Okay, maybe there vocabulary starts and ends with "dada" these days but I am working on that! They LOVE to push anything and everything! They also love to make all kinds of boy noises like spitting, farting, truck noises, etc. Never a dull moment in our household!

love these boys!! i'm going to have to steal your ball pit idea. very ingenious. where'd you get the balls?
They love it! It takes about 2 minutes to empty and takes me double the time to chase down all of the balls afterward. You are welcome to borrow ours anytime or come play in ours! The balls were from a blow up ball pit that we haven't tried yet for lack of room :) I guess we'll save that for another day of boredom.
