Aiden was so overtired (but still fighing sleep) that even bubble wrap looked like a great pillow!

Aiden (L) and Chris (R) enjoy the bubble wrap that the USP man brought today. Who care's about the package when theres bubble wrap? They actually learned to pop the bubbles and enjoyed it!

Aiden eating some more packaging material and enjoying it!

Chris was smart and filled his mouth with something better!

This is the boys new ultimate favorite spot. Thankfully with two- 50 degree days this week they were able to spend a bit of time pounding on the front door, having a grand old time. It is the funniest thing to see from the outside of the house looking in because all that you see it two smiling faces. I am pretty convinced that they are already plotting which direction each will head once we get outside this spring.

I was laughing at the beginning of the week, remembering my New Years resolution. It was my hope to "eat healthier" (aka not eat Little Debbie Fudge Brownies, well at least not eat as many.) I have been struggling to find a balance between high fat and healthy for Chris and Aiden and they do LOVE fudge brownies. I am still on the pursuit to try any new high fat food that I think they may be willing to try. This week we tried strawberry and chive and onion cream cheese on puffs. Aiden was a taker but Chris wanted nothing to do with them. I also tried egg noddles loaded with butter and while they have fun playing with them and ripping them apart, I am not sure that any actually made it into their mouths. There is one food they have both taken a liking to.... Frito Lay cheese puffs.... I had forgotten how wonderful full fat foods can taste! Sometime I find myself playing the "one for you, one for me game" and then I remember that I'm not the one needing help gaining weight! So much for my New Years resolution. I guess I am helping with those statistics that you always hear of about how many people are actually successful with their resolutions.

I keep forgetting to mention my very exciting news or maybe I did mention it but don't recall writing about it. Anyways, I am FREEEEEEEE! No more pumping, as in 100% done being a slave to a machine! Yippee! So the process took 3 weeks of weening myself done. I am so thankful that I started when I did because I was anxious to finish and get my free time and my body back around their first birthday. I LOVE being able to go to bed whenever I want, not having to worry about pumping after 9 pm to make sure the milk would be good through the night. I love not having to exercise by a certain time of the night to make sure it didn't interfere with my milk supply and I love the feeling of not having to worry about spending an hour a few times a day, "hooked up" to a machine. I do miss the ability to eat freely without gaining a pound but keeping up with the boys is keeping me in shape thus far.

For other exciting news, Mike went on his first work overnight trip in a very long time on Monday - Tuesday night. Things went as well as they could have and we enjoyed a visit with our friend Leeanne on Monday night. It was great to have the adult company and conversation and the boys liked seeing a different face. It also worked out wonderful for me because Grammie Hopkins came over Monday and Tuesday morning to help me with the boys so that I could do some work and get some errands done. Talk about perfect timing to have her help fall on the two days that Mike was away. I am SO lucky! The boys certainly missed Mike and were SO excited to see him last night! Now they can get their daddy fix as much as they would like :)
