Who did that???

Chris (L) and Aiden (R) all tired out after a day of playing at Grammie & Dziadz Pt.s

Look what I found at the grocery store... It's an Aiden!

Chris (L) and Aiden (R) attack my parents innocent and willing cat, Crammer. They boys were in LOVE because Cali is not that patient!

Christopher enjoyed playing drums on my parents well cap.

Chris (L and squished) and Aiden (R) go for a ride around the house on the desk chair. What fun!

You certainly couldn't beat the weather this past week! On Thursday the boys skipped playschool because it was a sleepless night for all of us and I was fearful for how it may play out for the high school students. So, instead we enjoyed the sunshine and did some free crawling around the yard and went on two walks! Thursday night I was lucky to meet up with my girlfriends Leeanne and Leora for great company and a delicious meal at Panera's. I left to meet the girls early with the intentions of going grocery shopping, completely forgetting that it was still almost 70 degrees! Needless to say, I made a second trip to the grocery store for my perishables on my way home. Who would have guessed you would have to worry about that in mid-March? But.... I certainly can't complain!

On Friday we had a wonderful visit with the Wetherby's and their grandson's Ethan and Liam. Liam is the same age as Aiden and Chris so it was fun to have them all play together. Liam certainly outweighs they both and is leaps and bounds ahead of them but he also has an older brother to keep up with. It was another wonderful day filled with sunshine, sunshine and more sunshine!

Saturday we celebrated Dana, my best friend from college's wedding shower. It was a great time with LOADS of great chinese food! It was great to meet the other bridesmaids for the first time and I am very excited for the other wedding events that are still to come! As always, it was also nice to see Dana and to share such a special day with her. Mike in the meantime was home with the boys for an entire afternoon. Grammie and Grandpa Hopkins came over to visit and lend some extra hands and they all really seemed to enjoy themselves. The back deck has become our new favorite room with all of the sunshine lately and I think they spent much time out there. Grammie and Grandpa Hopkins left for CA early this morning so we wish them a safe, happy trip and will be very excited to see them when they return!

Aiden marked a new first for us on Saturday night. He would kill me for actually putting this in writing but I can't resist. Saturday my typically bath clean up took longer than normal because as you may have guessed already, there was a "floater" or "sinker" in this case! Bleach was my new best friend and I went to town cleaning the tub, toys, seats and everything else in site! In the meantime, Daddy scooped up the boys and took them for their first shower to leave them actually feeling clean. Let's hope this is also a last!

Today Mike had a fantasy baseball draft and had a few friends over to our house so Aiden, Chris and I packed up and headed to my parents for the afternoon. We had a great visit and the boys were worn out by the time we got home! What a weekend. It always seems like you need a weekend to recover from a weekend, doesn't it? We have such an amazing, wonderful, adventure filled life!
