Sorry for so many pics! I couldn't resist :)

Happy Easter! What a fantastic weekend! I don't even know where to begin as we spent the last three days with family and couldn't have asked for better company and better weather!

Uncle Dan flew in from FL late on Thursday night. We were lucky enough to spend Friday afternoon with him. Chris and Aiden quickly warmed up and knew how to tease Uncle Dan and get his attention. They loved the attention!

On Friday night we had both families over to celebrate Mike's big 30th Birthday early! Tomorrow is the official big day, but we had a great time and Mike even managed to successfully burn our back deck thanks to not reading directions before assembling and using his new birthday present, a fire pit! Live and learn... Maybe 30 will be a better year for the learning part :)

On Saturday morning Cali got her new spring do. She once again looks like a lovely lion but was a good sport and came home all dolled up with a beautiful bow around her neck. The boys aren't quite sure what to make of her yet but she is actually prancing around proud this time so if shes happy, we are happy!

Saturday afternoon we had a Ptaszynski family photo shoot which was a belated anniversary gift for my parents anniversary. We decided to take advantage of having Uncle Dan home AND having his gorgeous Florida weather come with him. We had a great time and we are anxious to see how the pictures came out. We celebrated an early Easter with my family yesterday and had a delicious dinner. Aiden and Chris were spoiled with all kinds of Easter treats and Aiden even managed to somehow sneak 4 purple peeps in his mouth before being discovered! I guess Easter is all about the sugar for little ones so why not start on year one? The boys had a full day of fun and were exhausted.. mission accomplished!

This morning we went to church then headed home for naps. Uncle Dan stopped over to say goodbye before heading home and poor Chris slept through it all. We then headed over to Grammie & Grandpa Hopkins for Easter part 2. We were thrilled to visit with Uncle Jerry, Auntie Sarah, Auntie Steph, Uncle Andrew, Grammie, Grandpa & Great Gramma Tess. It was another awesome day with family, great conversations and delicious food! The boys had their first mini Easter egg hunt. By mini, I mean 6 plastic eggs filled with cheerios but they were in their glory, loving their new moroccas! Tired boys part 2!

Is it really back to reality tomorrow? The boys are going to be disappointed when they find out they are stuck with just Momma tomorrow!

HAPPY 30 BIRTHDAY Mike! You are an amazing husband, father and best friend. We love you SO much!

I see lots of ER trips in your future if the boys are like their Daddy! Luckily he's handy with the tools to fix what he breaks!
