And the bad....

Danger boys Chris was quick to find the drain at Sunrise Park!

Aiden is no exception to the fact that boys do LOVE dirt!

Happy 15 Month Birthday to Aiden and Christopher today! We love our big boys and delight in their enthusiasm, energy and curosity!

What perfect weather this weekend! We were outside enjoying as much sunshine as we could take in!

On Thursday the boys went to playschool in the morning and we played outside for much of the afternoon. I was expecting Friday to be a washout but we got lucky and got sunshine and dry weather! The boys had occupation therapy and Karly, our OT brought bubbles and choo choo train whistles! The boys LOVE Karly and all of her tricks and goodies.

Yesterday Mike and I brought the boys to Northwest Park in Windsor. What a great park and what a perfect day to be outside! We found a new trail to checkout, put the boys in our "baby" backpacks and headed out (can I still call them baby backpacks if they are technically now toddlers rather than babies?). Aiden and Chris LOVED touching everything that was within reach and were even happier when they were set free to run around. The animals at the park are always a hit and there were several dogs which was an added bonus. We were so busy playing in the fields and walking around that we didn't even have time to make it to the playground.

Today we headed to Sunrise Park in Suffield. I was thrilled to find such a local gem. We had a blast! I didn't realize all that our little park had to offer and feel so lucky to have such a great resource so close to our house. The highlight of the park was the sandy beach that surrounds a lake. Aiden loved the bitter cold water and Chris loved the sand. Something for everyone. They also had fishing, a few playground areas, lots of open fields, picnic tables, grills and trails. It was such a relaxing, fun day!

I was originally told this was the last week of playschool but to my surprise it will run for two more weeks. This week the boys have their 15 month check up at the peditrician's. Our doctor is out on maternity leave so we will be meeting someone new and I am anxious to hear how the boys are progressing since their one year physical. We'll hope for the best and keep our fingers and toes crossed for no cruel repeat blood work experiences for poor Christopher!

I do apologize for my unkept promises of posting videos. I have tried relentlessly and have temporarily given up. I don't know if its my computer or the blogging program but it has been one big "erroring out" process! My apologies!!!

They're walking! That's awesome. Love the pictures. The boys are definitely looking older by the day.

Karen, the walking is great! They are happy as can be and while they can go in opposite directions it is actually helpful to have them walking. They are losing their baby faces though :( Where does time go?!?
