This is an exciting moment - the boys in their FIRST 18 month old clothing!!! Okay, so these are the only 18 month outfits/PJ's that fit but it's still exciting for me!

Being small has it's benefits - for example, they can still fit in their doorway jumpers as the weight limit is 25 pounds. This is a picture of the boys saying their final goodbyes as I am afraid that even though they may fit the weight qualifications, they bring literal meaning to the old phrase "bouncing off the walls!"

Chris's loving the ride!

Aiden's cheesy face!

I love Suffield... I really do. Every weekday morning the boys and I head out for an early walk when Daddy leaves for work. I don't think a day has gone by where we haven't met someone new while we are out. I guess I get a warm, welcome feeling even when we are outside of our home and around people we don't know. Okay, maybe having twins was a good way to "break in" since most people want to stop and inquire about whether they are twins or not. I had an older woman stop me yesterday morning to tell me that it was too hot for my babies to have blankets. Okay, so maybe she's not the best example of the warm fuzzy feeling but I quickly told her that the blankets weren't for warmth but for "comfort." Ya know, most kids have "blankies?" Aiden and Chris have favorite blankets that they like to take with them from time to time. I am guessing that woman wasn't lucky enough to have a favorite blankie. Today we met an older woman who asked the age difference between the boys. Had to laugh and I am guessing that perhaps her eye sight may be going but she was very sweet none the less and we stopped and chatted for a few minutes. We now know most of the grounds keepers at Suffield Academy, the barber, the mailmen and the UPS driver (sorry, Dziadz but he's just as nice as the USPS men!) The boys were even lucky enough to get a tractor driver to wave and a big truck to toot it's horn! The boys may be little but they are quickly becoming more popular than their Momma and Dadda combined!

This week we are all still recovering from sick germs. For as much as I tried not to, I did share my germs at least with the boys. I guess it would be hard to have kids that love sticking their fingers in your nose, mouth and ears not to get sick??? They seem to have a milder version of the cold that I had and we are all on the up and up - Hurrah! Good health, here we come....

Since the boys were a few days behind me in being sick, we cancelled our plans at the beginning of the week. Grammie Hopkins still braved it and came for a visit yesterday. She brought some adorable new outfits and I have had fun playing "dress up" with the boys. They look like such little men in their new outfits... no more babies here! I was thrilled to get out to the library, bank and grocery store. Grammie's time with the boys on Tuesdays is such a HUGE lifesaver for me!!!

Auntie Steph is moving this week so Grammie & Grandpa Hopkins are spending some time in Boston helping. Today we have a guest of honor that is coming to stay with us for a few days - Grammie & Grandpa's dog, Sierra. The boys are in LOVE! Everywhere they go, Sierra is not far behind. She is the sweetest, most gentle dog you could ever meet and is such a fun house guest. She is certainly making my job easier, providing entertainment, a second set of eyes and she is super about doing clean up duty after meals! Maybe we will have to borrow her again in the future so the boys can get their dog fix every once in a while!

We hope that Auntie Steph's move is a breeze and we hope she settles into her new place quickly!
