The multiple uses of tractors! Chris (L) and Aiden (R)
I loved this picture for the fact that it really helps "size" the boys!
Riding the log like a pony at Northwest Park reservoir. Aiden front and Chris back
Chris was in his glory on this log.
Aiden was too busy to stop for a picture. He was on a mission to move all of the rocks at the reservoir... quite a daunting task if you ask me!
Checking out some bark
The rock relocation project....
Yes, this is a lot of pictures and YES, I have TONS more! Uploading is misbehaving so maybe I will give it another shot later this week. We had a great week and weekend as always. The heavy rain at the end of the week kept us inside and longing for our walks but we made up for it this weekend and enjoy this beautiful, crisp autumn weather.
Grammie Hopkins came over for her visit on Thursday this past week instead of Tuesday. It was great because after a long rainy day on Wednesday, it gave me the chance to get out and get some quiet time and fresh, wet air! The boys loved seeing Grammie and she said they were well behaved!
Yesterday Grammie and Dziadzu Pt came over for the afternoon and watched Aiden and Chris and Mike and I (lucky as always) headed out for a date day AND night! We headed out to the CT shore, since neither of us had been and we had fun exploring a bit. We then headed to a super cute, totally delicious little burger joint in Manchester called Catchup and Mustard. I had the most delicious chicken sandwich on a pretzel roll with unbelievable fries and onion rings.... it was a total splurge and a total hit... YUM! I recommend that restaurant to any locals looking for a cheap, fun, low key night out. We had a blast and Dziadzu and Grammie seemed to enjoy their time with the boys as well - at least that's what they tell us!
As you can see from the pictures, we headed to Northwest Park in Windsor this afternoon. The weather was cool but perfect for our "explorations." We had never found the reservoir before and were surprised how close it was. The boys loved checking out all of the sticks, rocks and mud and totally wore themselves down. It was a perfect fall weekend!
