Aiden takes the lead on our walk Sunday. No rain yet but I guess he was preparing.

Aiden....Maybe this was the curse of the rainy weather?

Chris amongst the field. He looks like a giant, lol!

Mr. Aiden in the bucket of the tractor.

Mr. Chris sharing the same pose as Aiden.
Rain, rain please go away..... We are ready to get outside and back to our regular walks and playing in the fresh air! I was amazed by how low all of the bodies of water in our area were so I am glad that they will now be replenished but enough is enough. We would like to put in a special order for some cooler, sunny days please :)
So despite the rain and being stuck inside we have had some wonderful company and have made the most of being indoors. I guess maybe this is preparation for the winter ahead. (although we have our boots, hats, snow pants and coats ready to go for our winter walks!) On Monday we had a play date with our friends Mathieu and Caroline. The boys loved sharing with Mathieu but I think two toddlers on one was a bit overwhelming for poor Mathieu at times. Mathieu is a great sport and keeps coming back to play...
Tuesday morning Grammie Hopkins came over. The boys really enjoyed their time with her and from what I hear, they did a lot of reading. Tuesday afternoon our friends Calvin and Megan came over to play. Calvin fit right in and I think we all really enjoyed ourselves. It is SO nice to have adults to hang out with. I told Megan yesterday that I'm not sure what we'll do when the boys are all old enough to play by themselves and don't need the mommy chaperone's anymore. I guess then we will have to transition to Mommy's nights out instead!
We are home, in our PJ's all day today and loving it! Homemade applesauce in the crock pot and yummy Nutella crescent rolls hot out of the oven for breakfast... simply can't be beat! (Don't tell Mike.... he might not want to go to work anymore!)
So Chris now LOVES to call Aiden and can say his name pretty well. I get such a kick out of hearing him try to get Aidens attention. Aiden on the otherhands thinks that he can call Chris "Aiden." That's not working so well.... I guess we have a few things to work on!
Tomorrow Mike and I will be bringing Christopher back to Connecticut Children's Medical Hospital for his second appointment. I am anxious to see what they think about his progess. Many have asked but no, I have not weighed Chris myself. I guess I don't want set myself up for disappointment and to be honest, I am not really sure what they will consider adequate weight gain... So, I will leave it as a surprise, be it good or bad and will report back soon!
