Aiden showing off his milk shake mustache.
Our new roof extension made of snow! The snow was wet and sticky enough that it created an extension of about 3 feet. Pretty neat!
Chris cleaning while wearing Dadda's sneakers.. They didn't come off all morning on Monday and he actually got quite good at wearing them!
Thank you winter but this is not my kind of snow storm. Yes, we were stuck inside all day, yes our play date was cancelled, yes we STILL have a driveway that has yet to be plowed and yes I had TWO little men that had a MAJOR case of the cranks... Thankfully Mike was home to share in my pleasure but unfortunately for him, he didn't much quiet time to get any work done. Let's hope tomorrow brings better spirits and their smiles back. It's been two weeks of being out of sorts and I am ready for my old 22 1/2 month olds.... I'm not sure I'm like 23 months so far!
So yes, like all families, we are having a challenging week and I will be the first to admit it! A & C are short on patience and high on screeching! Uggh. Despite the cranks, we've had a good week. Dziadzu and Grammie Pt came to visit on Monday and Mammie Hopkins came for a visit on Tuesday. We also headed out for our first visit to the JCC in Longmeadow to meet our friends Caroline and Mathieu yesterday. Chris was in his glory, running, falling and having a ball in their gym area but Aiden didn't want to leave my side. Is this a phase? Should I be taking them out of the other side of the bed? I'm willing to try anything and hoping for a better end to this week! No, I shouldn't complain. I am lucky to be home with A & C and we are all healthy but man oh man, I wish I had a magic happy pill some days! Looking on the bright side, I got my laundry done today, I got my house vacuumed and I got to clean the bathroom not just once but twice (cleaned for usual cleaning during nap and had to clean post bath due to not one but TWO poop "accidents... really? again? is this in the job description?)
