High Five

Chris was the only one willing to cooperate for a 5 second photo shoot this weekend. I guess I can't do much better than Target photo studio these days! Oh the life and stubborness of a two year old!

Our first playdough experience. Aiden LOVED it! Although he wanted to make a ball and didn't want to play with it after because he didn't want to ruin it.

Chris was getting into playing with playdough and did a great job leaving tiny, tiny little crumbs stuck in the carpet all around his chair!






Man oh man, it feels GREAT to feel great! I really can't even tell you how excited I am to feel well again. Stir crazy? I think so! We are up and running again and it couldn't feel any better. It was a long week of nothing but germs and I am ready to move on. It will be easy to keep this post brief as I am not joking when I say that we did nothing last week!

I feel fantastic and the boys are recovering as well but their cold seems to be linger. It's BIRTHDAY WEEK for A & C so we are hoping for two happy, healthy tikes!

Saturday morning we headed to Windsor Locks to visit Great Grandpa Tess who is living in a nursing home. The boys were a hit and Tess was very quick to show off our family to everyone around. It is kind of fun to feel like a celebrity for a few minutes. Aiden and Chris loved the attention but were surprisingly shy. We ran a few errands then headed home for some playtime before naps. After naps Grammie and Dziadzu came and Mike and I headed out for a 4th weekend in a row. Wow.... are we lucky or what? We went for an amazing early valentines dinner at Ketchup and Mustard, one of my favorite little burger bars in Manchester. It was no surprise that dinner was to die for and the boys have been talking about the time with Grammie and Dziadzu all day long! I think the night was special for all of us.

Today we had a low key day and went to church this morning and spent the afternoon at home getting some chores and boring things done around the house. Mike is back in his groove with woodworking and has been busy building himself a storage unit for work. I have been busy with birthday planning. I could plan a year in advance and have fun doing it. I just can't wait to see their face when they see all of the projects and decorations that I have been working on. Hopefully they enjoy it as much as I do.

So Wednesday is the big day.... The great big 2! We have fun plans which I'll share in my post mid-week. In the meantime I am off to go some grocery shopping planning for our party food and goodies! Have a great week and thank you everyone for bearing with me as I conked out on blogging last week!
