We then had a super fun playdate with our friends Calvin and Ashley and unfortunately I wasn't on my toes enough to take any pictures. Shame on me! We had delicious cupcakes and continued on our sugar high! As always, the boys were infactuated with Ashley, the baby and were excited to see Calvin and share some of their trucks (well, all but their favorites!)
We had early naps then headed to the Holyoke Children's Museum where the boys had a blast. (TOP) Aiden was in LOVE with the real tractor where he got to be just like "Bob-O (Bob the Builder)". (Bottom) Chris meanwhile LOVED driving the real ambulance that came complete with a siren and real intercom system.
As you can see, we all enjoyed the giant bubble station!

Mamie & Aiden and Daddy & Chris were pretend news anchors and enjoyed seeing themselves on TV.

The mailbox was a hit! Dziadzu may have had a little something to do with it! (Aiden, L & Chris, R)

The loved it so much, they even made themselves at home and climbed inside. Maybe thats a great way to get a cheap vacation?
Then we moved on to the coin table for some fun with change.
The museum closed at 4 so we headed home for Birthday Party, round 2. Aiden was a good sport and wanted to wear a party hat.

Mommy & Daddy got A & C bubble mowers (minus the bubbles until the spring comes and they move outside!) They were a hit.

Chris says "Auntie, start your engine...
Then Dziadzu arrived with a really big package. What could be inside? It took a matter of seconds to find out! (Chris, L & Aiden, R)

A trampoline! Just for us! Chris was quick to jump on and discover the fun of bouncing!

And of course, Aiden wasn't far behind!

Then on to the tasty part - Aiden was quite taken by having his family sing Happy Birthday to him. Chris immediately requested more!

Chris, L & Aiden, R with their "2" cakes. Aiden's was blue with yellow and Chris's was yellow with blue, at their request.

It didn't take Chris long to figure out how to dig in. He was much more interested in ripping the cake apart then he was in eating any.

Aiden's final product.

Chris's final product. A picture says a thousand words!

We had an awesome day and A & C couldn't have asked for a better birthday or "party day" as they liked to call it. I can not believe that is has only been two years as I can't imagine or remember my life with our little men but at the same time, it feels like it was just yesterday we were adjusting to our new, exciting life as parents. Wow, how time flies. You hear everyone say this but watching your own little ones grow so quickly truly drives home the point.
It has been an amazing, fun filled adventure, but worth every sleepless night. We love our little men from the bottom of our hearts and love to see the joy that they bring to everyone around them. Happy, happy birthday Christopher and Aiden. Two years ago at 7:11 and 7:28, our lives became so much richer and we will forever have you two to thank! Here we come terrific two's! That's what it's referred to, right?
oxo to everyone for all of their wonderful messages and birthday wishes. They are certainly loved far more than they will ever know!
