Chirp

We can make it through this winter as long as we've got each other!

I was trying to teach the boys to put their arms around one another and it turned into a ring around the rosie dance fest. Maybe later Mom!

Grandma Tess and her piano. We were lucky enough to hear her talent this weekend.

Chris and his buddy Dziadzu at the new table that Dziadzu made for them.

A baking blast and licking mess.

Chris: Love at first taste!

Happy AD.

Our very own "Bob the Builders" trying to find something to fit under their train table. Theres no job to small, just give the boys a call!

My ALL time favorite. Aiden (L), Chris (R). Pure Joy!

- Today marks blog #330!

- I loved our walk outside yesterday.

- I loved waking up this morning to birds chirping.. yes, birds (and of course little men trying to out chirp the birds too!)

- I love that the grass is peaking through in our backyard and our garden is only months away.

- I love knowing what love feels like! Back to business, let's celebrate that the days are getting lighter, longer, lovelier....

- With signs of spring in the air, Mike and I are trying to step it up with exercising and eating better. Dirty thirty is only 2 months away for ME (although in my mind I haven't aged since I had the boys). I'm not kidding when I say that I can already see that my weight is settling in all kinds of new magical places and getting motivated to exercise is getting harder and harder. Why couldn't that wait until I was 40?

- Aiden had his first "wet bed." Not what you may be thinking - he opened an entire nalgene filled with water during his "nap." Fun pick up! Mean while, from his bed, Chris was putting in his two cents saying "No, no, BAD!"

- Chris and Aiden LOVE talking on the phone. Don't be surprised if you receive a phone call from them in the near future! I apologize if they forget to hang up and it takes Mommy a while to notice J

- Mommy loosened up a bit and let A & C lick the beaters after baking last week (don't worry, no raw eggs, just cream cheese and sugar). They were in LOVE. I see bad habits forming...

- The boy's blood tests came back fine for lead and thyroid (okay, technically they didn't come back, an over anxious mom called to inquire... We don't know anyone like that, do we?)

- Dziadzu's visit last week kept the boys talking about him every day since but else is new?

- The boys were super stars on our visit to see Great Grandma Tess this weekend. She has one of the best memories and amazes me with the stories she tells. I am making it my goal to spend more time learning about her life. Actually, I'd like to do that for all 4 surviving grandmothers. Perhaps video interviews. If it's a written goal, than it's a must, right? Hold me accountable!

- Auntie Laura and Grammie Pt. were a hit when they stopped over after their conference yesterday. Chris was sad to see them go. Maybe we can convince them to move in next door? Takers anyone?

- Speaking of takers, we still have an adorable, fluffy white kitten up for grabs? The boys LOVE Cali and are actually understanding that they need to be gentle AND quiet to get anywhere.

- Aiden continues to love to clean, organize and be domestic. He also loves to be in charge and takes his role as Chris's second mother very seriously.

- Chris loves to make a good mess. He's playful & daring but always willing slow down to share a good kiss (or two or three!)

- And... if you have a minute this week, please say a little prayer. A few special people in our lives could use all of the prayers that they can get. We love you!
