Their faces expressed exactly how I was feeling after I found their hair "experimentation" during quiet time yesterday.
The boys checking out the big scooper and "boom" as Aiden taught me yesterday.
Truly sizing the boys.

I have no reason to complain... so I won't.... but it's been one of those weeks. The high pitch squeals are in full force and Aiden and Chris are mananging to find and invent every possible way to annoy one another. Thankfully, vacation is in sight! I offifically started my packing tonight and am happy to say that I am in vacation mood! Just a bit more packing, some cleaning and we will be well on our way to (hopefully sunny) Moody Beach, Maine!
Not much to report this week. It's been a quiet week activity wise but certainly not a quiet week behaviorally! I think one of the biggest excitements of the week is that our street is loaded with heavy duty equiptment and construction will soon be underway to put in a new underground piping system with new pavement. Woo hoo! Three cheers for a new road without massive pot holes and four cheers for entertainment for A & C as long as the excitement begins before we leave for Maine!
Quiet time today was awful. A & C managed to get into drawers and cabinents that they shouldn't and again took pride in painting themselves and fancying up their hair with all of the goodies they found. They understood that I was upset and asked "Momma, are you mad?" I said "I love you but I don't like what you choose to do." Chris immediately came over and gave me a hug and a kiss {bonus points!} Aiden on the otherhand, refused. When I asked why he said "because I'm too old." Really? I asked him how old he was and he said "5." He then proceeded to tell me that someday I will be old enough to play with his trucks like he does. Maybe when I am five. Had to laugh....
