Life is good. Daddy is home. Things are back to normal and I am more thankful than ever to be a part of a two parent household. And ever more thankful to have amazingly supportive families.
Monday was a different Monday of sorts. Mike was gone and it took me way longer than it should have to get myself and the boys going in the morning. We were happy to see Mamie’s smiling face when she arrived bright and early and ready to spend some time with A & C so I could get some work done. The boys had a morning filled with treats… shopping…. out to lunch… a visit to Grandpa at work and fun company. I plugged away and got my work done early so the boys returned home mid-day and we braved Big Y together. Not a smart Mommy move. I should have called it a day but instead set myself up for a major meltdown at the grocery store x 2. Live, learn and wait a few months to go back again :)
Tuesday we did some playing, sewing and cleaning at home before heading to Belchertown. We packed our things and spent the night at Grammie and Dziadzu’s. With Mike away and myself working Tuesday and Wednesday, it was nice to be local, nice to have extra sets of hands and nice to have company and delicious food. Aiden and Chris loved their time visiting. So did I. They could play for hours and Dziadzu always does an amazing job of wearing them down and keeping them busy. The recipe for happy tikes. We headed home happy tonight. Ready to relax, snuggle and catch up with the wonderful man in our lives. Welcome home Daddy! We’ve missed you!
