Happy Halloween to you! I was beyond thrilled that tonight’s weather was cooperative as Aiden and Chris have been talking about trick or treating for at least a month now! Of course after last years storm and the threat of a much angrier Hurricane Sandy, I think we were all taking it day by day {or hour by hour as todays original forecast was calling for rain!} Despite the absence of the moon, it was a perfectly cool, crisp fall night. We headed out early and were so thrilled that we did. After about 10 houses, Aiden got brave and too excited to wait for his old folks and by house #15 Chris was ready to call it a night. We are so fortunate to have an awesome area for trick or treating just minutes up the street in the center of Suffield. Many houses were so warm and welcoming and really seem to enjoy the kiddos. The best part is that we were home in less than an hour!
We also snuck in special visits with Mamie, Dziadzu, our neighbor Mr. Bill, and Uncle Dave! The boys were in their glory and have a sugar high to last a week! I would say their first Halloween was an absolute success! The best part, they even shared their goodies with Mike and I! Have a warm, safe Halloween!
