To my most favorite blog readers, I thank you for not giving up on me as a busy week comes to an end and I am finally sitting down to share our baby news!
As you may know, we hosted Thanksgiving at our home this year. We had a large group and were so thrilled to be surrounded by so many people that mean so much to us! I also braved the crowds yesterday with my partner in crime, my mom and headed out at 4 am for some Black Friday shopping. It was a mega marathon of nearly 10 hours of shopping but I am more than excited to say that I am 90% done!!! And I should note that I am shopping for 38 people {a bit ridiculous indeed but with school & CCD teachers, mailmen, secret santas, and large families, it adds up!}. It was a blast and while it’s a tiresome day, I always love peoples mood and the holiday spirit. I give the employees big kudos as they were all most pleasant and I of course hope to keep this annual tradition going and hope my shopping buddy does too! Thanks for your company, input and hands to help carry the load Mom!
So…. with our loved ones that were near, we were thrilled to share the news of whether we will be joined by a baby boy or girl. By far the vast majority have guessed girl and well….
He fooled you!
Our family is most excited to announce that we will be joined by another member of team blue! I am far outnumbered but couldn’t ask for more love and a better family. We can’t wait to meet you little man Hopkins {okay, yes we can…. we can wait until April thank you very much!} Now I just have to work on having Mike let me choose the name since I am the lone man in the family :)
