We’ve been busy and are getting out and about… a lot…. it’s keeping us all sane!  Since our last blog, we’ve checked out the children’s library in West Hartford with school friends; we’ve visited with our friends the Locke’s; we’ve attended the Annie Fisher Montessori year end picnic; we’ve been to the splash park and playground in South Hadley with my friend Leeanne; we’ve visited Grammie, Dziadzu and GG and picnicked in Belchertown several times; the boys have had their usual Tuesday fun days with Mamie and we’ve got a lot more on the docket.  We’re planning to stay busy this summer so if you’re in our area and willing to play, please let us know!

I’ll keep it brief but wanted to share a few funny stories…

Chris informed me last week that when Jake grows up, we should change his name to Ethan because that’s a good “big boy’s name!”  Ethan happens to be the boy’s name choice for Jacob when we were deciding.

Chris woke up this morning and asked me if it was a good day to wear “long sleeve shorts?”  Sure… why not!

Aiden, currently {but subject to change at any given moment!} my more mindful, responsible son shared some words of wisdom with Chris this weekend as Chris threw a fit in the car.  It went something like this…”Chrissy, we’ve had a really good day.  Don’t ruin it now buddy.”  Everybody needs a second Mommy!

And last but not least, Jake had an appointment at the pediatrician's last week.  We’ve started some acid reflux medicine and have been pleased with our happy camper that has now emerged late nights!  Jake was also weighed and is now 9 pounds, 6.5 ounces.  While he’s still small, he’s growing perfectly along his own growth chart and is in the 7th% for weight…. And…. for the first time, after 4 long years, our pediatrician finally agreed that we just make our kiddo’s small.  Hip hip hooray.

I haven’t been as good as I should be with my camera.  Shame on me.  But, who can resist adorable little baby feet and a smile like this!  It melts me….

PS – The hands you see in the lower picture are Aiden and Chris “tickling” Jake.  What a well loved, lucky little brother he is!
