On a side note…

With the “real” birthday now behind us, I have to thank my all inspiring, amazing friend Karen for her help with the super fun invitations {see below} and awesome ideas for décor.  She is one of those women that wow you with her creativity and all she does!

I also have to thank my parents who took Aiden and Chris on Friday afternoon for a sleepover.  This Momma was able to move at super speed with two less under tow, all while knowing that the big boys were having the time of their life.  The level of excitement was oh so high so a special night away was just what they needed!

So here are the killer invites…

And a few remaining shots of  the decor….

A fun little sign in our entrance way; my Pinterest inspired balloon wreath from last year; our welcome board from the front porch {notice the oh so fun chalk markers and we’re getting our use out of the the easel my amazing husband made me a few years ago}

My sewn star and plane garlands; My attempt at puffy “clouds” {homemade pom poms} and fun whimsical garlands.

And as for school, this year we’re bringing in kettle corn to share and I get to join in the festivities with Jake.  I can not wait! {Party postponed due to snow and ANOTHER day off from school……}

Check out these cute little sacks we found……. Now imagine 60 bags…. My trunk will be full!  Hoping it’s a hit with the kiddos!

Thanks for the shout out. It was my pleasure. Elliot was thrilled the boys had a plane party like him. He thought that was awesome.
Love all the garlands, great idea. Looks like a very fun party.
