It doesn’t get better than being in the company of family with fresh air, sunny skies and signs of spring everywhere. Easter is here and that’s just what we got!
Uncle Danny arrived from Florida on Thursday afternoon. Aiden and Chris had a full day of school but Jake and I were able to visit with he and Dziadzu briefly before he headed to Belchertown to settle in. We had a big hopes of visiting Friday but unfortunately Mike had an awful flu and we feared sharing his germs and worried that everyone else would be headed down the same road. So thankful that serious cleaning and disinfecting and some major hand washing have kept the rest of us well and we’re hopeful that we can keep it that way. Friday was Jake’s birthday and as you might have guessed, it was low key with plans cancelled and a sick Daddy.
Thankfully Mike was back to feeling well Saturday as he headed out early to golf. Uncle Danny came to visit and our time together passed way too quick. After lunch we packed up and headed to Nora’s to celebrate Uncle Dave’s surprise 60th birthday. It is always fun when the parties are truly a surprise and it was wonderful to see Mike’s extended family.
We headed home and I dove into one of my major projects, re-doing the look of the house. Stay tuned for pictures as I have a but more finish work before I share.
Sunday was truly delightful. We had a casual morning at home before heading to Belchertown for brunch and Southwick for lunch. It was an early morning indeed with 6 visitors before 6 am but I feels like just yesterday I was a ball of excitement, begging my parents to let me get up. It was a day jammed packed with goodness. Here’s our day in pictures…
Brace yourself, there are a LOT!!!
