Jacob  Michael Hopkins

Age: One Year

Hair: Short and blond

Weight:  Guessing 19 pounds

Length: Tiny!  I’ll keep you posted after he goes for his physical

Favorite Animal: Cat

Words Spoken: Momma, Dadda, AD (Aiden), the cat, all done, what’s that

Favorite foods: Veggie sticks, peaches, waffles, & anything he can feed himself!

Teeth: Two on the bottom & very oral.  Loves to out anything and everything in his mouth.  His pacifier is his “safety.”

Always sleeps snuggled up with one of his soft, baby blankets tucked under his arm.

Favorite Toys: Balls; things that make noises or light up; touch and feel books

Favorite activity: Kicking the ball; Walking with Fingers {Not walking alone yet}, Shopping {while Mommy’s front pack facing outward with the ability to grab everything in sight!}

Least favorite activity: Car rides

Sleep:  Sleeps 6:15 pm – 6 am, usually naps 8:30/9 am – 9:30/10 am and 1:30 pm – 2:30 pm

Eats: 7 am Breakfast, 9:30 snack, 11:30 lunch, 3:30 dinner and nurses before bed

Knows how to do sign language for “all done” and loves to put it to good use all the time {when running errands with Mommy, out for walks with Momma and just before bedtime}

Calls Christopher “AD”.

Loves to climb stairs while beaming, thinking he’s getting away with something.

Loves peeking through the cat door while either making kitty calls or saying “the cat, the cat.”

Loves to push trucks around on the ground.

Is very good at showing discontent when expected to stop doing any activity that he’s currently doing and enjoying {for example, when your back feels like it may be breaking from walking him around with fingers for upwards of 30 minutes, don’t think he’s not going to put up a fuss when you attempt to stop!}

Amuses himself by making what we refer to as the “scrunchie face” and loves to pucker his lips and make soft whistle sounds.

Loves to smile to strangers and catch the attention of those around him but quickly turns into a shy guy and is showing signs of stranger danger.

Does not like to be ignored. If you walk past him and forget to acknowledge his presence, he is happy to remind you that he’s there.

Above all else, we’ve decided that he’s a keeper!
