I find myself reminiscing far more than usual today as we close a meaningful chapter of our lives. As of 3:30 today we no longer own 2 Cain Street. It’s been a bitter sweet journey and one that we wouldn’t change for the world. Our home on Cain housed all of our firsts. The first place of our own, our first huge undertakings in the wonderful world of projects, the home that we returned to after getting married, the home we brought our three babies back to and the place that we’ve raised our growing family for just over 8 years. 8 years! It’s hard to believe I’ve spent 1/4 of my life there and while we are thrilled to be closing the door to an adventure that took us down a very windy road, we will miss our first home. Our new space is amazingly perfect and so much lies ahead but 2 Cain Street will forever hold a special place in our hearts….
And while I didn’t quite get the good bye photo I was hoping for, I am grateful to remember this time in our lives.
