It’s so discouraging to finish a post, receive an error message and be unable to save your work. So I took a longer than anticipated break and walked away from it…..
But, I’m back and here to share some highlights from our trip to York, Maine. We’ve been home for just over a week. We had an amazing time and nothing beats a week of good conversation and company with family you wish you could see more often. The weather was cooler than was cooler than we expected but the water was pleasantly warm (for the Maine coast at least!)
We partied (Happy Birthday Grandpa!)
We visited the beach, the playground, the arcade and a few shops (The house is the second from the right in the picture below).
We visited the York Zoo and loved on the reindeer.
We fished and crabbed.
We walked and explored.
We enjoyed dinner out.
We relaxed and played games and for a week we forgot about it all!
Life is grand indeed! Thank you Mamie and Grandpa for an unforgettable week away!
