Dusting off...

Eeek, I'm dusting off my keyboard and catching up.  Where have the weeks gone?  Warmer weather and outdoor temptations are keeping us occupied with less time inside and certainly less time on my computer.  So, here we are a few weeks later.

With spring sports around the corner, our weeks are filling up.  Christopher had baseball try outs last weekend and seems very excited the season to start.  He's ready and willing to practice from the time he jumps off the bus.  Aiden has decided to try his hand at lacrosse.  He's been warming up at home with Mike as his willing trainer.  Truth be told, from the time we were told we were having twins, I think Mike whispered in their ears that lacrosse is the way to go.  Either way, we're eager to cheer both boys on and excited for them as they both try their hand at something new.

They both love to be outside and are so excited for warmer days and longer nights.  Aren't we all?  They're continuing to excel at school and will soon surpass me in just about all subjects.  They're super readers who truly enjoy reading.  I often catch them "sneaking" in a few pages after we say good night and turn off their lights for bed.  They still love legos and are on a new kick (with our neighbor Ben) or having their own science "labs" in their closets.  Most recently, their closets were turned into bunk bed head quarters with pillows, sleeping bags and all things warm and cozy that they were able to scrounge up around the house.  I love the innocence and receive "best Mom ever" title letting them decorate and color on their closet walls.  Well worth it!

Jake is soon to be three and acting three in every way possible.  He's a riot in many of the things he says, quick to reply and already trying to get in the last word.  He's a busy beaver, always wanting someone to play with him.  He loves building with the little legos, creating with play dough and playing pretend.  His latest obsessions are nerf guns and sneaking in a round of hide and seek.  It's fun to see his little mind at work.  He's still obsessed with all sweets and would do just about anything for a piece of candy.  He LOVES to mimic both of his brothers so we're dealing with the good and the bad of having two sneaky little role models.

Things are steady at work for Mike and the real estate world is waking up from winter and coming to life.  We count our blessings because life is good indeed.
