One week closer!

Happy Super Bowl Sunday!  Here we are on week 32 already!  Today we had our final baby class.  Mike would probably kill me for mentioning this because as Leeanne said, he might "lose his man card if other guys founds out... " but today was our breast feeding class for multiples at Baystate Hospital.  I know Mike and I are both relieved to have our schedule free up a bit, especially given that the babies could decide to come anytime now.  Mike was a great sport for going with me and thankfully he wasn't the only guy there (I can only imagine how long I would hear about that one, if he was!)  We learned a lot of good tips and while I have to admit that I am still very intimidated, I can totally appreciate all of the benefits for the babies and the mother and I am going to give it my best shot at the very least!  I also loved hearing the news that mothers breast feeding 2 babies get to consume about 3000 calories a day - what a dream!  I can have a smorgasbord everyday!  Humm... that has got to be worth at least 5 - 6 inch turkey grinders a day, right???!? It wouldn't be long until that got old!

Yesterday we had a wonderful shower at my in-laws, Dave and Carol's.  We were again, so lucky to have awesome food, wonderful company and so many generous and overwhelming gifts.  I know I have said this before but our boys are SO spoiled already and they aren't even here!  We are truly so blessed to have such awesome friends and family!

Tomorrow we have our next 2 week Dr.'s appointment/checkup and an ultrasound... yippee!  I can't wait to see the boys again!  It has been a month since our last ultrasound and I am really hopeful that maybe they will cooperate to give us some good profile shots since it hasn't been on their agenda during our last 2 ultrasounds.  I am also really hoping that we will hear that they have made some significant weight gain so that we don't have to worry as much about having teeny tiny babies if they decide to make an early arrival.  I will try to post early this week with the Dr.'s appointment update and hopefully new pictures!

Oh and did I mention that for the first time, the weather cooperated for a baby shower?? Could we really be breaking the cycle of guaranteed winter weather for every scheduled baby celebration so far?

OK - I posted the comment on the wrong blog - but even then; what I called "today" was last week! Oh well - you get my drift! :)
