The new and improved Cali??? I couldn't find any before pics quickly but you can compare this with pictures in past postings.It's a lion, it's a rat, no wait.... it's a cat! Poor Cali is going through a major identity crisis after her makeover yesterday. We dropped her off at Petco for a two hour overhaul and got a call an hour aand 15 min later saying that her spa treatments were being cut short because it was to traumatic an experience for her. Poor kitty or lion.
Mike has always had a concern that our children would have animal identity issues. This unfortunately is going to add to that drama. It has been a long standing joke in our house that our boys will be very confused. Since Cali, our cat is always climbing and getting into everything, I nicknamed her Monkey. After her new "do", I may now have to reconsider calling her a lion. Poor kitty has a fluffy mane by her face, a shaved body and a shaved tail with the exception of a poof ball at the end. I have never seen anything like it. Cali is adjusting to her new look and is actually entertaining. She scared herself yesterday with her tail, literally, when it waved from behind her(no joke). Although she lost about 10 pounds and 10 inches in fur, she somehow now get stuck in the cat door in the cellar.... not sure how that happens? Mike and I are waiting to be reported to the animal cuelty organization if anyone else sees what she looks like :)

No we did not ask for that, it was the choice of the man who cut her hair... needless to say, we will have input next time.
