This weekend has been a beautiful preview of fall. What a nice breather from the heat and humidity a few days previously. Thursday we were thrilled to have visits from Grammie and Dziadz Pt! Mike worked late so they came to give me an extra set of hands or two. Since the boys were stuck inside all week with me, they were thrilled to have visitors. Dziadz and I took the boys to the playground before bed and they were asleep in no time! Success!!!
This weekend I got out by myself for a while to celebrate another baby shower. Our friends Jenny and Adam are having their first little girl, Hadley and are due on Halloween - how exciting! Yesterday was a perfect day for such a beautiful outdoor shower! Mike held down the fort and we enjoyed some time to catch up on errands in the morning and chores around the house in the evening.
After church today Uncle Andrew and Auntie Laura came to visit! The boys were in their glory and so were Mike and I. Grammie and Dziadz also stopped over for a brief visit on their way to pick up GG Mimi from the airport. The boys literally melted as Grammie rubbed their backs and got them ready for an early bedtime! We all had such a nice afternoon and wished that we could hit "repeat" and enjoy the day all over again!
New this is week is the boys interest in walking on their "tippy toes." Aiden also started shrugging his shoulder when you ask him a question... Both very cute if I might say so myself!
This week A & C have their 18 month appointments with the peditrician.. I know, 18 months already!?! We are hoping for good weight and height checks ins so check back later this week to find out about our successes (We're staying positive)!
