Aiden & Chris checking out the tractor tire tunnel at Foster Farms.
A, C & Livia playing on a wooden tractor.
A corn maze... fun for the whole family!
It's a Chris in a box!
Shhh... Aiden's tractor is hiding.
A sneak preview of Halloween costumes. Chris is our new model!
What a surprise, Chris and a tractor.
Apparently the house must have been cold this morning. Aiden decided to accessorize with hats and mittens. Silly boy!
And yes, Aiden even kept them on to play!
The week wrapped up with two cranky boys and a Momma that decided that it was best to lay low and hide out at home J Needless to say, we didn't make it to play school on Thursday. The morning started out on the wrong foot so I didn't see the play school experience ending well. I am hoping that we can return tomorrow but I am going to play it by ear.
So… Thursday was a nothing day and Friday followed suit. Friday morning we did have a visit from Great Grammie Tess. The boys showed off as always and ran around like crazy monsters. After having a week that started off busy, it was nice to have a few days of nothing.
Yesterday could not have been more perfect! It was an incredible fall day and we were lucky to spend the earlier part of the day with our friends the Locke's at Foster Family Farms in South Windsor. The kids had a blast running around the house together before we left and by the time we arrived, three of the four kiddos had already fallen asleep! Thankfully they woke up refreshed and ready to play their hearts out! I am pretty sure if they had it their way, they would have played until dark. A & C were in tractor HEAVEN! The rest of us enjoyed the corn maze and watching the kids enjoy themselves so much. Nothing beats spending time with old friends while you watch your kids run around happily together. Well, maybe I should clarify the "run around" part for Aiden. Aiden chose to sit on the tractor 90% of the time. Just sit…. It's the little things that keep them happy!
Last night we had a great time visiting with Grammie and Grandpa Hopkins. They brought us a delicious dinner and Aiden and Chris loved reading books, singing songs, "hiding," and being chased. They get so excited to have them over and love being around people that love them so much. For Mike and I it was nice to have company and so nice to catch up. Our family and friends are our world!
