Uggh

Chris showing me what's for snack!

Aiden in the meantime was posing with the raisins, hoping for a future in advertising.

Today was my ugggh day. I am willing to bet that all Mom's have those days, but not sure how many like to admit it. Today was day two of playschool and uggh…. It went awful! The boys started playschool on Monday and did great! They very quickly occupied themselves with checking out the new toys so I slipped out without them knowing I had even left. Today they caught on to me and from the time we pulled into the parking lot, they had a plan in their minds that was different from mine. They clung to me like magnets, hanging on each of my legs and cried for the first half hour. I caved and felt too guilty leaving such sad boys with poor high school students (who probably now no longer wants any kids of their own!) I am hoping things get better but am honestly scared to return tomorrow because I now have "those kids!!!" On a brighter note, they went on a pumpkin hunt with momma in tow and found pumpkins and also make their first macaroni necklaces. They just need to realize how fun playschool can be! I should also mention that we also left on a LOUD note as they boys cried when we left because they didn't want to leave the toys behind. Oh the joys of children J

Yesterday Grammie Hopkins came over in the morning and they all had a lot of fun. The boys love seeing Grammie and I think she feels the same. After naps, the boys had occupational therapy which is now once monthly. I felt like we got some good suggestions from the OT and for the first time the boys seemed to remember and take a liking to our OT, Patty. (Don't worry, she doesn't know I blog about it!) I headed to see Eat, Pray, Love at the movies with my friends Leeanne. It was a great movie and one that I am so glad I had a girlfriend to go with as I know it's not exactly up Mike's alley!

Monday morning was day one of playschool followed by a fun play date with our friends Caroline and Mathieu. It has been a busy, fun week and we are looking forward to another fun play date this afternoon with our friends Megan and Calvin. We're heading to Simsbury to check out the children's library and I'm keeping my fingers crossed for well behaved (and possibly quiet) little boys???
