I may have overdone the first attempted Christmas photo shoot on Sunday as I haven’t taken any pictures since. Shame on me! More to come from Halloween in the coming days…..

We are busy bees and loving it! While the cooler weather may be keeping us indoors a bit more, we are finding plenty to keep us busy.
On Monday we were excited to get together with our friends Annie, Charlotte and their Mommy Erica for a play date at their house. The boys loved their company and took quite a liking to the girls. They burned a ton of energy on their huge outdoor trampoline and were having so much fun that they didn’t want to go home! Its always nice to have visits like that.
Monday night I was excited to check out Ikea with my friend Leeanne. That place truly is a danger zone. It takes a lot of self control (or a tight budget) to walk out without spending a fortune. I was thrilled to pick up a few small things and have started a “wish" list” for my next visit/lottery winnings.
Tuesday Aiden and Chris went to Mamie’s and had a blast as always. They re quite fond of her and truly enjoy the change of pace, as do I!
Today we started our day early at the YMCA in Granby for some fun open gym time with Calvin and Ashley. The kids were so content running around, playing basketball, tumbling and racing their trucks. It’s the simple things. It was our first trip and seems like a really cool place. We then headed home for a quick lunch and packed up again to head to Umass where we visited my friend Leeanne and old friends and co-workers from Financial Aid. Boy do I miss them! Aiden and Chris made themselves right at home and Chris was quick to open up, turning into little Mr. Chatty Kathy story teller. After our visit to Umass we stopped to see our friends the Schillings and got a tour of their beautiful new house. Their girls were so good with our boys and they left tired, happy campers asking for more playtime! We got a call that Grammie was in Amherst as well and had just gotten out of a meeting so we met up with her and went for a Trader' Joe’s run, spending way too much money way too quickly! I do love that store though and would seriously buy one for my backyard if it were an option. Don’t worry, I am good at sharing We headed home just in time to settle down and get ready for bed. It was a fun, busy bee day – just the way we like it with lots of special people and fun times!
Snow tomorrow? We shall see…..
