High Five

It’s official, the boys have inherited my holiday spirit!  Aiden loves using scissors.  This morning he was busy at work in his “workshop” making letters for Santa. I  must also admit that we do have a tendency to read Christmas books year round when we discover one that wasn’t put away with the holiday décor.

Today was our big delivery…. NEW couches and along with the new couches, 15 pounds of grass and mud from the delivery men(no joke)!  Yippee…. Here is our work in progress living room.  The photo is taken after a few hours of Daddy working hard to assemble the couches.

And yes, we are daring to have white…. The best part… they can be washed and the slip covers can be replaced!  We also have a dark camel color to switch out maybe seasonally for the fall/winter.  Now I just need to work on finding the perfect rug and something a bit larger for the wall behind the couch.

Here is some humor for your day. This is a little surprise that was neatly tucked under Daddy’s side of the bed.  I think Mike emphasized that its funny but only because it is fake poopy at least 25 times! And yes, it is fake and no, I didn’t give it to them.  We truly have no idea where is came from.  Any confessions out there? 3 years old and just getting started…..
