Aiden and Chris had a super start to their week as they had a date with Mamie and Auntie Stephie!  After school on Monday, the ladies picked them up and brought them out to lunch where they met Daddy!  It was the treat of all treats.  A & C really enjoyed themselves and were even able to sneak in some play time at Mamies before I headed over to pick them up and ruin their fun.  I took advantage of the quiet time to get some work done for Mike and Dziadzu snuck over for another afternoon of painting the nursery.  It was a great day across the board.

Yesterday we laid low after school and were able to enjoy some extra stories, games and snuggles.  Dziadzu gave up yet another afternoon and came today to finish painting the nursery.  Its coming together great and I am SO very thankful for all of his help.  This little man may just have the best room in the house!  I’ll post pictures after we put the room back together and start to “nest.”

I’m feeling great and really can’t complain.  This sunshine and fresh air has been a welcomed reprieve from the normally frigid January temps.  Tomorrow I’m braving cleaning appointments for Aiden and Chris at the same time.  Fingers crossed that all goes well!  Happy Wednesday everyone!
