My poor favorite camera lens took a fall to its end on the first day of school.  It’s been sorry pictures ever since so my apologies for the lack of goodness to share.  The good news…. it’s getting fixed!  And best of all, should be in my ready little hands by Laura’s wedding.  Speaking of which is only weeks away and we’re so excited!  All three boys have special little outfits with accessories that I’ve been working on to complete the look.  They will look stellar I assure you and Laura, well she is going to shine!  I can not wait to see her and Eric on this long awaited, fantastic celebration!

Even after the worst of worst days, sometimes you have a heart warming moment.  This week was no exception.  I walked in to check on the big boys before going to bed myself and found this….. Chris had crawled into Aiden’s bed and decided to spend the night!

I’ll admit it, it makes me melt!  To have a best friend and brother all wrapped into one….. can’t be beat!

Jacob has become little Mr. Mouth. He can not get his fist far enough in; he can not find enough things to “taste” and he can not drool enough.  Teeth?  Maybe…. but secretly I’m hoping until he waits he’s 13 months like his brothers for nursing sake!  We’ve had a few rough nights and long waking stretches combined with waking up every hour to feed and while I love his darling little face it’s been a bit much.  But…… without jinxing myself I am happy to say that we have made a few alternations to our schedule and now seem to be on better grounds.  Phew!  It was beginning to feel like I was working second shift.

School is going well and we’ve been enjoying some quiet time at home in the afternoons.  The boys seem edgy after school so we’ve been laying low while we settle back into a routine.

As for me, never a dull moment.  Tonight I somehow managed to break the cement on my permanent retainer.  Yes, permanent and the best part, I wasn’t even eating anything.  I am special
